Caught napping

After the demise of Iblis, life began to settle down. However, this was all too brief when our pets decided to decorate the spare room. For some obscure reason this meant replacing half the roof. Human logic is very difficult to understand!

Roof inspection

Replacing the roof seemed to involve a great deal of noise, mess and strange people. It also took ages as humans being humans, the plans were changed several times during the process. It was at this point that Corbon discovered a new found ability, that of climbing ladders (which would inevitably get him in trouble later . . .) This was especially useful, as Corbon performed regular inspections of the work whilst the workmen were present, to provide important safety and procedural information.

After the workers had left, Leeloo would assist Corbon with additional inspection and quality checks.

Leeloo pretending to inspect the roof

During this time I kept well clear, being convinced that exposure to loud noises can cause premature deafness, and has nothing to do with old age!

Some time after the roof was finished (but not the spare room), Leeloo became rather amorous with her father. He seemed to know just when to appear and make life more interesting for us all. On the right Leeloo is just days away from giving birth. . . More next time.
