La Graciosa |
Excellent views of these islands can be obtained from the viewing point Mirador del Río. La Graciosa is 27 square kilometres of volcanic extension to Lanzarote. The name means, 'the graceful' shaped by its four peaks, the highest of which measures 266m. With a population of just over 500, most of the inhabitants work on the 'mainland' of Lanzarote. With long stretches of beach and excellent swimming available, this is a popular place to go from the north east port of Orzola. |
